Bible Reading plan

Join us for a 1 Year Bible Reading Plan for 2026.

The Word of God saves, empowers, reforms, and reveals Jesus. This plan celebrates and perpetuates the central tenets of the 16th-century Reformation. • Sola Scriptura—The Word alone • A “gospel order” – Organized according to the predominance of Gospel proclamation in each book as observed by the Reformers • Some grace each week—Six days of reading and a catch-up day.

Big Learning for Little Sprouts at New Early Learning Center in Shirley

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Big Learning for Little Sprouts at New Early Learning Center in Shirley

Shirley, Wisconsin  August 15, 2025

Registration is open for Lil’ Sprouts Learning Center in Shirley, Wisconsin. Children aged 2 1/2 to 4 will develop spiritually and intellectually through Christ-centered and age-appropriate curriculum.

They will learn about God’s love for them and how to reflect that love for one another and the world around them.

Director Danielle Ripp says, “This is my favorite age in a classroom setting. At this stage of development, children are so curious and crave learning about the world around them. Supporting their development and helping them learn about this great big world God has created for them through play and exploration – that’s why we do this.”

Both Immanuel Lutheran of Shirley and Morrison Zion Lutheran churches collaborated in bringing the Learning Center to Shirley. Pastor James Enderle of Morrison Zion Lutheran explains, “Not only did voters of both churches approve the learning center and the calling of Danielle to be its director, but a board made up of members from both congregations has worked tirelessly in the last year to bring this dream to life.” Pastor Dave Ruddat from Immanuel in Shirley echoes the sentiment, “Both congregations saw a need for early childhood education in the area but each one individually did not have the space or the staff. This is a great example of working together.”

The center is ready to tour and enroll children.

Danielle Ripp says, “The center’s schedule allows flexibility to suit all kinds of family situations and budgets. We are also offering the use of Scrip and will train families to use this as both a budgeting tool and a ay to reduce the cost of care.”
